ARTchive: Digital Archive for Rural Communities explored the concept of creating a free digital archive system for rural Ontario-based artists.

This project focused on incorporating and testing a tape-based archive data management system while studying and implementing the best practices in digital archiving. Furthermore, the project engaged in consultations with rural-based archives in Grey, Bruce, and Simcoe counties of Ontario to ensure it would meet the specific needs and challenges faced by rural communities.
